Today we are happy to share a small but important step for one of our Canadian customers.
A consolidated LCL (less than container load) shipment of our white aluminum sunroom left our factory this morning. The cargo was carefully loaded at the port and is now on its way to Canada.
The sunroom is a white powder-coated aluminum structure, designed for residential patios. For customs clearance, the declared product name is “knockdown house” – which is the standard and correct classification for this type of flat-pack sunroom.
Everything went smoothly during loading. The units were packed securely to prevent any movement inside the container. All paperwork including the commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading matched the declared name.
We always recommend that buyers check with their local Canadian broker if they have questions about HS code or duties. For this shipment, the customer was well prepared.
Now the container is at the port waiting for the next available vessel. From here it will cross the Pacific and arrive at a Canadian port in several weeks.
