A 3-meter high aluminum sunroom with full-height monolithic glass and French mullions is ready for shipment to Canada. Built by Yongsheng Greenhouse. Factory QC passed. Awaiting ocean freight.
One of our latest projects has just completed final inspection at Yongsheng Greenhouse. The unit is fully packed and ready for its sea journey to a residential client in Canada.
This is not a standard sunroom. It is a 3-meter high, fully engineered aluminum structure designed to meet North American building performance standards.
The client requested a sunroom with European character. Yongsheng Greenhouse answered with a French-style mullion system applied to a modern aluminum frame.
The vertical mullions run the full height of the glass wall. This creates the classic divided-light look found on traditional French doors and orangeries. The sunroom reads as an original architectural feature rather than an add-on glass box. From the garden, the facade presents a clean and symmetrical rhythm. From the inside, the mullions frame the outdoor view without blocking it.
Most residential sunrooms use a knee wall topped with standard height glass. This project takes a different approach.
The primary viewing wall uses floor-to-ceiling monolithic glass panels. There is no intermediate rail. The glass runs continuously from the finished floor to the underside of the roof beam. The 3-meter height is the key feature. At this elevation, a person standing inside sees tree canopies and sky, not just fence lines or neighboring rooftops.
Shipping 3-meter glass panels requires serious engineering. Yongsheng Greenhouse packed each panel in a reinforced steel-framed crate with multi-layer foam padding and edge protectors. The crates are designed to survive container stacking and road vibrations to the port of departure.
The frame is constructed from 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with a full polyamide thermal break. The thermal break stops cold transfer from the exterior skin to the interior surface. In a Canadian winter below -20°C, this keeps the inside face of the frame dry and above the dew point. No condensation. No frost buildup on the aluminum.
The finish is a weather-grade powder coating applied at the Yongsheng Greenhouse facility. The coating resists UV fading, salt air, and the freeze-thaw cycles common across most Canadian provinces. Unlike wood, this frame will never rot, warp, or need annual sealing. Unlike vinyl, it will not sag under snow load.
The term “ready to ship” in the sunroom industry does not mean a single welded box. It means a fully pre-cut and pre-drilled kit with no on-site fabrication required.
Every aluminum profile is cut to exact length at Yongsheng Greenhouse. Every connection point is pre-drilled. All weather gaskets are pre-installed in the frame grooves. The glass panels are separate. The hardware including German-sourced hinges and handles is packed in labeled bins.
A local installation crew in Canada can assemble this unit into a finished structure within two days. No cutting. No welding. No guesswork.
The Yongsheng Greenhouse quality control team completed the final check last week. The water tightness test passed without leaks. The glass panels showed zero scratches or edge chips. All hardware moved smoothly. The powder coating was uniform across all visible surfaces.
The sunroom is now packed and stored awaiting the next available container slot to Canada. For Canadian homeowners or contractors looking for a similar structure, contact Yongsheng Greenhouse directly. Our team is ready to produce your next order.
